Associated Sound Newcastle has been installing   Digital and 35mm Projection Systems for the last 68 years.

Has been around for over 68 Years
 Installing and Serviceing Cinemas.

We have been actively engaged in the Motion Picture Industry for over Sixty Eight years, providing all types of Equipment and Services to most of the independent exhibitors in the Eastern States of Australia.

 

In the last few years we have installed 104 Digital Projectors around Australia.

 

The Digital Cinema work that will be installed in the last few year,

  • Two at The Entrance for Majestic.

  • Three cinemas at Mt Gambier

  • Four cinemas at Devonport in Tasmania.

  • Two outdoor cinemas.

  • One Drive-In at Heddon Greta.

  • One at Young.

  • One at Boolaroo.

  • Three at Raymond Terrace.

  • Three at Ballina

  • One at Murwillumbah

  • Three at Bateman’s Bay

  • Three at Kathryn NT.

  • Two at Armidale

  • One at Mt Vic.

 

 

 

From the 1950s to now we installed new and reconditioned 35mm Projection Equipment, but around  2009 onwards we have changed our business to installing Digital Cinemas and servicing what we install. Most of our work is for the independent cinemas of Australia. We are a credible installer for ICAA

 

We can also help with all aspects of the Projection Room, Screen, Curtains, Cinema Design and Installation.

 

We service all Cinemas in all locations.

 

We provide a seven days emergency service for many N.S.W. locations, as well as those clients in other states, where we have been involved in fitouts and supply.

 

We are well and favourably known to the Motion Picture Equipment and Accessory Manufacturers in U.S.A. and can access most brands of equipment on a favoured Dealer basis.

 

As well as our Electronic Service Section, we have a fully equipped Machine Shop and for many years have remanufactured Projection Equipment, which we import directly from U.S.A.

 

Our Technical Staff are NEC, GDC, Doremi and Dolby Certified and we have all the very latest Test Equipment and Computer based programmes to assist with calculations and diagnosis.
